Endemol UK and Channel five are producing a programme entitled
My Secret Body
and seek your help
It's time to redefine what makes a body beautiful.
Everywhere we look there are images of perfect bodies. These are the bodies to which we are all supposed to aspire. But do any of us really live up to these ideals? Endemol UK and Channel five are launching a nationwide campaign that sets out to challenge the way we British think about our bodies. We are calling on the British public to show and tell it how it really is.
We are looking for suffers of all ages with Hypertrichosis & Hirsutism to participate in this documentary. We want to hear your story and how you have dealt with this issue.
We also want , your family and friends , to send in home videos, stories and text photographs, and tell us the stories of your own real bodies. We want to know about the relationship you have with your body and other people's - what you love, what you hate, what you obsess about and what you are aroused by.

LWT (London Weekend Television) IS LOOKING FOR MEN AND WOMEN FOR A NEW ITV DOCUMENTARY.

Yorkshire Television is currently putting together a documentary for ITV which looks at a number of beauty and cosmetic treatments - from perms, dyes and hair transplants to tattoos and piercings - where people have had terrible experiences and ended up worse off than before or even permanently scarred by their ordeal.
We are keen to talk to people who have gone through these kinds of unfortunate experiences - either recently or years ago.

HIRSUTISM
Landmark Films is making a documentary film for British TV Channel 5 on the subject of hirsutism in women.
We will be looking at the human side of the story and are looking for women who may be prepared to share their experiences of hirsutism as part of the film.
We are keen to hear from any women who may be interested in taking part.
We would also like to hear from any treatment specialists who may have willing patients.
The filming will take the form of an actuality based interview, so we will be looking to follow women on a course of treatment, for example. Therefore we do hope to feature some of the different treatments available to women.
Filming takes place in October. All calls are treated in strictest confidence and there is no obligation to take part.
